...five, six!

So, we're very certain Jonah's favorite numbers are five and six. 

For the past year, when seeing anything in pairs, and sometimes even in multiples, he always says, "Look, five-six!" We used to always correct him and tell him the correct numbers, but we've just loved it so much we figured he'd figure it out eventually. Sure enough, he has started saying the correct number of things he see's, and when I say, "yea, good job!" He'll revert back to, "See, five- six!" with a big ole smile. I promise it's the greatest thing when hearing it in person :) Or are we just crazy-obsessed with our child?? ha!

JM's been able to count to ten all by himself for the past two months. I didn't want to brag too soon because he always skipped the number 2 for the longest time! He definitely favors numbers over letters. I'm sure I have Thomas the Train to thank for that since some of the trains are numbered.

Just a sweet story that still has us smiling...

(The morning of his birthday)

Nick: "How old are you today, Jonah?"

Jonah: "I five!"

Nick: "Nooo, you're three!"

Jonah: "OH! I five, too!" (with pure joy in his sweet voice)
