Happy Anniversary!

Happy 3 Year Anniversary!!

Meeting Nick was the greatest blessing in my entire life. Not only did he show me God's word, but I also found out what true love was. Still today, it amazes me what it really does.
We know we are more than blessed to have found eachother. I feel so lucky to have married my best friend, it has been an amazing 3 years! I love you, Nick.

Ho, Ho, Ho!

Hope everybody had a wonderful Christmas! We sure missed seeing everyone!
We've traveled to Houston the past two years for Christmas, so this holiday was a little different from what we are used to. Even though we missed out on seeing our loved ones, it was definitely nice and relaxing just staying at home. Fortunately, we have our sweet little man to keep us very entertained. He is quite the loving baby and enjoys lots of cuddles and kisses! We are savoring every minute of his sweet cuddle time because we know as soon as he starts really moving around it won't be as often....tear : (

Jonah with all his presents

Jonah really raked in the goods for his 1st Christmas. Santa did good!! A lot of the gifts he got were previously eye balled by Mommy... good thing I didn't them!! Jonah says "Thank You" for all his presents!!

Loving the wrapping paper, of course!

Snow Angel

Nick and I were able to be little kids in the snow while Jonah took a nap. We were determined to build a GIANT snow man this week, but, unfortunately, the snow was incredibly too dry and powdery... perfect for skiing! So we opted for just playing in it with the dogs and then I realized I've never made a snow angel in my life! How have I not made one the whole 3 years we've been away?!

Sweetest dogs in the world!!

Just checking it out...

Yay for my 1st snow angel!!!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

On Monday night Westen Colorado got a ton of snow. We are still true Houstonians because we still got a little excited :) This snow still doesn't compare to the amounts we would get when living in Wyoming, but it was impressive for here in the Valley!!

As you can see, Charlie was over it and was headed back to the warm garage

Oh Christmas Tree...

On Sunday, our little family headed to the Christmas Tree Farm. We were determined to get the perfect tree... I'll say it again, the perfect tree.

We searched and searched, walked, and walked. Finally, I spotted it from a distance. I yell for Nick, pointing to the tree. He looks at me with agreeance like we hit the jackpot. Five seconds later, a little girl sits down underneath the tree and her parents quickly snap photo's of her and claim the tree. So of course, back to searching again, BUT we did find one, and it was our perfect tree :) Never thought we'd be so picky about choosing a tree!! We had a great time, and it totally got us in the spirit!

Here are the few pics I got at the farm before we found our tree. Nick managed to start sawing away at our tree before I got a photo of it!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

This year we were able to visit my family in Denver for Thanksgiving. My Aunt (my mom's oldest sister) and Uncle, their twin daughters (my oldest girl cousins) and spouses. They've always lived in Colorado since I was born, so it's nice to spend time with them for once!

Auntie Eleanor, Melissa, Jeremy, Uncle Whitlow, Tiffany, & Jonah

We all gathered at Melissa and Jeremy's home in Downtown Denver. They live extremely close to Cherry Creek... a great, great place for shopping! Reminded us of  Westheimer. Wish we could've made that work, but there is NO way we were going to attempt that with Jonah on Black Friday.

Jonah had a great time soaking up all the attention :) He sure likes being in the spotlight, that's for sure. Melissa and Jeremy are expecting a baby boy in March, so it was like a sneak preview of their soon to be life! Thanks for having us, we really enjoyed visiting!

Headed back home... anybody want to come visit and hit the slopes??
