37 weeks.

Why hello there. I'm still sitting fat and happy over here. ;)

37 weeks

Last week we had our last ultrasound of our sweet girl. Hadn't seen her since 16 weeks ago. Good news, Lily is still a girl :) More good news, all looks great, she's estimated to be quite the chunker already. About 7lbs at 36 weeks. Makes me a bit nervous, but, on the bright side, the measurements aren't always 100% accurate. Let's just say I'm hoping they are over estimating because my practically 8lb boy was pleeenty big for me!

I'm going for check-ups on a weekly basis now, which I totally love. Keeps my mind at ease to know how I'm progressing. Last week I was at 1cm and 60% effaced. Today, I'm dilated at 2cm, 70% effaced. My doc is very happy with that and is thinking/hoping she'll arrive at my 39th week just like big brother did. Just going with the flow of things at this point. Fingers crossed for Groundhog Day people!!! YES, we would totally think it would be awesome for our child's birthday to be groundhogs day! Haha! BUT of course, any day is perfect. Getting close, so anxious for her arrival. When will the big day be?! Until then, I'm soaking up every single precious moment with my sweet boy, a little bittersweet.
